UN Office in Ukraine invites children and young people to participate in a drawing contest "How do I see my future" that will last from 4-25 April 2017.

Those who will submit papers to the competition will receive certificates from the UN Office in Ukraine.

Ten best works will be awarded by the UN Office in Ukraine (certificates from an online store http://rozetka.com.ua/ for 400 UAH) and diplomas. They will be also exhibited during year 2017 at the premises of the UN Office in Ukraine. Some works will be used to illustrate the new strategic program of cooperation between Ukraine and the UN.

Pupils of 5-8th year of secondary schools and other youth of a similar age category .

Contest Period:

- from 4 April to 25 April: presentation of children's drawings to the Organizing Committee;

- from 25 to 30 April – winners’ selection by the jury;

- May 10 - announcement of winners;

-10 to 20 May - rewarding the winners and participants.

In order to participate please send pictures by April 25 to the address: UN Office in Ukraine, Klovskyi uzviz, 1, Kyiv, 01021 and write on the envelope: "drawing competition."

The format of works submitted for participation in the competition - at least A3 (420 × 594 mm)

Participation in the competition is open only to individual works (collective work will not be considered).

The theme of the picture should chosen by the author

Submitted work can be performed in any graphic or painterly technique on sheets of paper format at least A3 (420 × 594 mm). Do not add a frame or mat. On the back of the painting indicate your full name, home address, phone number, and name the school.

Submitted works are not reviewed and not returned. After submitting to the contest authors give the right to display their works at the UN website, social networks and other publications of the organization.

Works are evaluated according to the following criteria:

- compliance with the contest theme

- artistic level, compositional perfection;

- individuality of performance, originality;

- quality, cleanliness.
